Preschool

Merry Christmas Trinity,

Things are busy and energetic in the preschool classroom these days!

November was spent learning about Thanksgiving and in helping the children think about all of the things they have to be thankful for (besides toys!).

We are gearing up for a very busy December with many kinds of ornaments to make and Christmas gifts for parents to finish. And of course, we will be stressing the
Christmas story and the birth of Jesus. The preschoolers will be learning special Christmas songs to perform at a small Christmas program for their families, which is always a highlight!

Many thanks to all of you who made donations to preschool in the memory of Pastor Jim. He was always excited to attend the preschool Christmas program and it will be very different this year. While this year's group of students did not have the opportunity to come to know Pastor Jim very well, they, as all of the other children who came before, benefited from his joy in them!

Greetings to our Trinity Friends,

Didn’t the school year just start? In a little over a week it will be Advent - a time of preparation for the birth of Jesus, Our Savior.

Preschool is going well. We are hoping that our numbers will increase after the Holidays. A Christmas program is planned with the little ones as the ‘stars.’ Time to be announced.

Last night at our Board meeting we spent time reflecting on our relationships with Pastor Jim. We are fully aware of the positive direction he has given us through the years. We laughed about our times together with him and of our fondest memories of him, which will always remain in our hearts. Pastor Paul will be joining us at future meetings. We look forward to his guidance!!

Be sure to look for our table at the Alternative Fair on December 6, 2009. Trinity polo shirts, note cards, Christmas Cards, Trinity cookbooks will be on sale. You will also have the opportunity to donate through the CCCC tax credit program. Deadline is
