Lutheran Family Services Fundraising Concert
On Friday, February 26 at 8 pm Amy Grant will be in concert at The Paramount Theatre, 1621 Glenarm Place, Denver, 80202. Tickets to this fundraising event may be purchased at www.lfsco.org, 1.866.461.6556 or at the Paramount Box Office, Pepsi Center or Dick’s Sporting Good’s Park. Ticket Prices range from $40 to $150. There are limited tickets available for $150 which also includes a dessert reception with Amy Grant. |

ANNUAL REPORT DEADLINE!!! Ministries please, please get your reports in a.s.a.p! First deadline is Dec. 31st! Second deadline is Jan. 4th. There isn’t a third! 2009 is over...we need to hear how it went! I will be giving three prizes to the first three people who manage to get their reports in the office early. FAITH ADVOCACY DAY: BUDGETARY APOCALYPSE, FEB. 15, 9 AM—3 PM COLORADO HISTORICAL SOCIETY, DENVER
Lutheran Advocacy Ministry—Colorado, in conjunction with The Colorado Council of Churches, the Episcopal Jubilee Ministries office and Voices for Justice will sponsor the annual Faith Advocacy Day, Monday, Feb. 15 (President’s Day), 9 am—2 pm, at the Colorado Historical Society. Cost is $20 and includes lunch. The day will include Colorado legislative updates and breakout sessions on health care reform, homelessness, poverty, potential ballot measures, all from a faith-based perspective. Bishop Allan Bjornberg will also host a breakfast @ 8 am discussing advocacy as evangelism, cost is $10.
