Tonight there will be more than 3,000 children sleeping in foster homes across Colorado.  And yet, hundreds more will be without a safe place to lay their heads.

 

Lutheran Family Services of Colorado (LFS) is seeking people who are interested in exploring the possibility of being foster parents. For more information call Carrie Landers at 970-232-1161.

ABOUT THE CENSUS:  In March 2010, more than 130 million addresses across the nation will
receive a 2010 Census Form. The U.S. Constitution requires a national census once every 10 years for the purpose of reapportioning the U. S. House of Representatives. Every person living in the United States must be counted. This includes people of all ages, races, ethnic groups citizens and non-citizens.
Additionally, census data directly affect how more than $400 billion per year in federal funding is
distributed to state, local and tribal governments. Please complete and mail back your form and
encourage your family, friends and neighbors to do the same.

US CENSUS JOBS

Applicants need to bring two forms of ID, Drivers License and Social Security Card. They need to allow at least 1 1/2 hours to complete an applicant file and take a 30 minute test. Our web site can allow them to take a practice test and gain other information www. 2010censusjobs.gov. our toll free number will route them to our recruiting dept 1-866-861-2010 to be officially scheduled for a testing site. They need to call us first before the test so we can see how many people are being scheduled.

The US Census is hiring over 1000 applicants in the next 30 to 45 days. I know there are a lot of people that would appreciate some kind of income and hope we can help.
