Dear Friends in Christ,

          I am writing this letter to thank you for
hosting a Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp Giving Tree during this past Advent season, It was very generous of your church to allow us to be a part of this magnificent time in the church year.

          Gifts made to Sky Ranch through a gift card, seem to really appeal to congregational members. This was our fifth season placing the giving Trees in Northern Colorado and Denver churches. This form of contribution gives the supporter the confidence of knowing where the funds will be spent and typically on the type of purchase made.

          Advent 2009 brought in 17 gift cards worth $640. This will be so helpful during the summer months when expenses are high and the income is low. A majority of the cards will be used to purchase items for programs at Sky Ranch such as food and craft supplies.

          We would love to have the support of Trinity again during the 2010 Advent season. We will contact you in the fall regarding the Giving Tree. As we gear up for the camping season, we ask that members at Trinity pray for our staff, campers and the ministry of Sky Ranch.

Where:  Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, Harmony & Lemay, Fort Collins

What:   Fundraiser for Sky Ranch, including delicious barbeque, Bluegrass music and more!
