Trinity offers you three different weekend worship times and formats. Saturday
evening at 5 pm is a service of informal liturgy with rousing singing led by
Mira, David and Greg who really dig music.
The 8 am service with Marcia at the organ brings the gift of music along with a
brief liturgy and Holy Communion. The 10 am festival service features the Lord's
Supper, traditional liturgy and our choir under the direction of Dr. James
McCray. Meaningful worship is our goal and we cordially invite your
participation.
We are privileged to share our central location with many community support
groups, which are vital in working toward wholeness of spirit and heart. Call
our office 970.482.1226 to find the current listing and times of meetings. We
feel it is important to be open to the Fort Collins community interests as we
go along life's journey.
Trinity Lutheran embraces the traditional Lutheran theology and practices while
doing our best to bring them in line where and how we live today. We are an
open and sharing church community.
Come and see!!!

Dear Trinity,
Depending on your point of view, we are slowly or rapidly getting to
the end of summer, as if you didn't already know that! Here are
some of the signs....the Ministry Groups will be meeting in August.
Plans are in the works for Sunday School. Plans are underway for a
thorough Stewardship effort. The Call Committee has been working
undercover all summer long. The evidence seems to be that they
may be able to show us their work before too long. Summer
attendance at worship has been consistent and improved over the
past year. Your gifts for this ministry are on track......mail them in if
you are not going to be in worship. The outdoor service for the 4th
of July ended up inside! Much work has been done around the
property and we look good!!
Speaking of "looking good" we have received quite a few new
members so far this year and I have a feeling there are some more
folks out there "nibbling" at the edges. Please make every effort to
introduce yourselves to people you don't know. You might find out
they are old timers, then again you might find them shiny new
members. Hospitality is our name! Thanks to all the faithful folks
who work so hard on Sunday for the fellowship hour. Next time you
are at fellowship hour sit with some one else rather than the same
old group. Too often I have seen folks sitting alone....and many
times its a new member....its fine if you ask me who they are but
better yet YOU go up to them and tell them who you are.
Some folks ask me what I am going to do when this "gig" is over.
First of all "its not over until its over" (just ask the Rockies).
Secondly, who knows what is in the future....another place, nothing,
golf, garden, mow lawn at the golf course, more naps. All I know is
that Mary Alice and I are blest in so many ways with nice kids, gifted
grand kids, a nice house and good health.
Contrasting to all of that, is the anguish and suffering in the world
and our own nation. I will go out on a limb here and suggest that I
have never seen such selfishness and self serving in the mind set of
many if not most of our citizens today. This attitude is exacerbated
by talk show hosts, politicians and "good Christians". The
derision and disrespectfulness is beyond reason. Then come all the
promises of the fall political season......all the accusing rhetoric
between candidates. Meanwhile the wounds of war prevail. Our
nation’s youth, even though volunteering, are subject to death and
life changing mental and physical wounds. We represent the
church. We represent the faith. We represent the Bible. Obviously,
we don't have all the answers for a hurting world but at least we can
be thoughtful about and not blindly ingest the rancor of the day.
There is this directive from scripture ..."what does God require of
you but to do justice, and to love kindness and to walk humbly with
your God."
